Bungie Plans Halo 2 Send Off On Xbox Live

Microsoft announced that it was pulling the plug on Xbox Live support for original Xbox games. That obviously includes Halo 2.

Bungie intends to send off Halo 2 with a bang. Players should book April 14 as a day to play. Bungie promises "One final farewell and one final opportunity for all of you to kick our asses at Halo 2."

This (M$ ending live support for original xbox titles on the 360) should be a real boost to XBConnect as there could be many gamers heading over here so they can continue playing their old Xbox games using the service!

It will still work with the original titles played on a 360, right?

I purchased XBConnect a long time ago, but haven't used it in awhile since I've been able to play them all on my 360 via my high speed connection. Looks like I'll get a chance to start it back up, and bring some new members over here!

Yeah this should boost the users as long as the people hear about XBConnect, just need to find more ways to get XBConnect out there.

This is a perfect opportunity to spread the word on XBconnect. I encourage everyone to buy a 1 month xbox live sub and spread the word directly to the players. I know I will.
